Chatz Anderson - Tang Towers

The brief from our client was to come up with a cute and clever concept toy to be co-marketed with Tang powdered mix drink in the UAE. It needed to centre around a campaign that would allow the winners of a competition the chance to visit the tallest building in the world the Burj Khalifa. Our concept was to involve kids and their parents in assembling a freezer mould kit and making Tang flavoured ice sculptures of Dubai’s famous hotel.

Industrial Design
Our client required presentation graphics for a marketing proposal on short notice. Our design team came up with a concept for an ice mould that could be assembled and require the participation of both the children and the parents. The two part plastic design needed to contain a liquid and be able to demould providing a support and base for the delicate design of the scale Burj Khalifa building.

The design allowed for both colours of the brand to be featured prominently and the shapes were designed to both be colourful and playful, as well as functional as the structure had to be able to stand upright in either orientation, upside down for filling and freezing and right way up for display.

The 3D design was rendered to look photo-realistic for presentation purposes.
