Two types of RFID tags had to be encapsulated in a material that does not degas in a vacuum. These tags were to be used to locate items in NASA's clean rooms and in space. The material specified was basically impossible to process with any standard equipment and Skeg was approached to use prototyping techniques that we have developed to encapsulate the tags. 3000 tags were encapsulated in 6 weeks maintaining full RF function. The customer has received numerous awards for this project.
