Industrial Design
This product is unique in that it incorporates the grinder teeth into the PET body. The design challenge was to make it manufacturable, effective as a grinder and to stay within the limits of the material properties. The design process was highly iterative with multiple versions prototyped and also injection moulded prototypes manufactured.
The customer holds a patent for this product and has reduced costs considerably, compared to traditional grinders, due to reduced component count.
