Industrial Design The customer wanted the product to be in the form of a wall plug with the necessary electronic parts that could prevent these electrical disturbances from reaching the equipment. The design was mainly driven by regulations and the ability to change and build a range of products from the same set of tooling. This was achieved and the customer has manufactured numerous products for the local market.
Prototyping All the electrical and plastic parts were manufactured in-house. Machining, 3D printing, silicone tooling and vacuum casting were used to manufacture the various versions of the product for pre-certification testing and marketing purposes.
