Itron – Electrical Housing

This electrical housing was a prototyping project for the purposes of pre-testing certification of high voltage flash-over.

Prototyping
The parts were printed in high quality (16 micron) on our Objet Eden 350V 3D Printer to ensure accuracy and to reduce finishing time.

The masters were hand finished including a light textured finish which was applied to the part. Traditional silicone tooling and vacuum casting followed by manufacture of multiple prototype parts.
